Coachliners collects only the information necessary for managing your account, providing services, sending updates, maintaining customer/visitor lists, responding to inquiries, providing feedback, for identification and authentication, and for service improvement. Contact information will be kept confidential and used only for the purpose for which it was collected, unless you agree to disclose it to third parties.
“Personal Information” includes your name, address, email address, credit card information, birth date, and gender. The purpose of collecting this information will be clearly identified at the time of collection. Providing Personal Information is optional, but if you choose not to provide it, you may not be able to register or use our website or services. Personal Information may be collected through registration processes, communications with you, information downloads, service use, purchases, user support, and surveys.
“Non-Personal Information” refers to anonymous information such as IP address, domain used to access the website or services, and the type and version of browser or operating system. This does not include aggregate information like demographic statistics, number of visitors, pages accessed, or average time spent on the website, or business contact information like names, titles, business addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers.
Use of Information:
Start a Trip: To submit a trip request, you must provide email address, origin and destination, date and time, and additional notes. This information is used to review the request and determine if it can be posted on the website for others to book. You will be notified by email if the trip is posted.
Location Services: If using the Coachliners App, access to location services on your mobile device may be requested to provide information on the bus’s location relative to you.
Transactional Notifications: Certain activities, such as trip bookings, may result in notifications being sent despite your preferences.
Marketing Communications: If you opt-in to receive marketing communications or provide email address or cell number, you will receive updates on products and services, and other communications. You may withdraw consent to receive marketing communications at any time by following opt-out instructions.
